"The exact data about quantity of all archaeological objects of the country while is not present". It was declared by the employee of Institute of monitoring of the legislation at the President of Republic Uzbekistan Olim Kodirov. As he said, during control-analytical activity of Committee of Legislative chamber of parliament concerning a science, formation, culture and sports for 2005-2008 on execution of laws on protection and use of objects of a cultural heritage some question in the field of the account, preservations of an archaeological heritage has been revealed. "So, for today there is no exact data about quantity of all archaeological objects of the country.

Archaeological objects

The archaeological objects found for last years, are stored in different scientific, cultural and country educational institutions. "So, at archeology Institute are stored about 25 thousand, an archeology museum at the Samarkand state university - more than 40 thousand, in a collection of unique objects of Institute of art criticism - over two thousand archaeological objects. Also it is known that archaeological subjects are available and in museums of system of the Ministry of affairs of culture and sports, Academy of Sciences, even in museums at some hokimiyats (administrations) and schools". In its opinion, also there is a necessity for the uniform legal approach for regulation of process of archaeological researches, including investigations, excavation and supervision.
"In the national legislation a number of regulatory legal acts concerns the given sphere, however they cannot provide completely legal relations in the field of archeology. And the new law passed in this year" About protection and use of objects of a cultural heritage " has allowed to create a uniform legal basis in this area" - the employee has concluded.

Archaeological researches are conducted in the largest high schools of Uzbekistan. About 70 scientists-archeologists are occupied by studying of history from the Stone Age before the developed Middle Ages. The Uzbek scientists together with colleagues from Japan, the USA, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Russia conducted researches of some archaeological objects, cooperation with them proceeds and today. As it is known, in territory of Uzbekistan there are cities, whose historical age totals a millenium.
