Islam in Uzbekistan
Islam is one of three significant world religions, along with a Judaism and Christianity. In Uzbekistan Islam as the faith, has deep enough radicals. Islam has so become stronger in Central Asia that many cities of Uzbekistan became the present centres of this great religion. Many tourists select tours to Uzbekistan only to visit holy sites of an Islamic civilisation. The meaning pf the word "Islam" on the Arabian designates an absolute entrusting of to God, submission to the power of the Allah. It is more than religion. Uzbekistan is a great country, whose belief should be same great. Islam as the world religion, means daily prayers, fulfilment hadj, post observance. The main dogmas is worship the Allah and honouring of the sacred prophet - Mohammed. In Tashkent there is Spiritual a handle of the Moslems, controlling activity of Muslim communities.
Islam, as a world religion
On number of adherents, Islam takes the second place after Christianity. In the world there is more than 1 billion Moslems. The majority of the population in 48 countries of the world is made by Moslems. Practically in all these countries Islam is official religion of the state. In the Arabian countries only 10 % of the population practise other religion, the others of 90 % - Moslems. The sacred book of Moslems - the Koran - is the historical document which has been made by confidants of prophet Mohammed. The Islamic literature can be divided on biographic - about Mohammed's live, and the legends - hadisy describing the separate periods of his life.
Life of prophet Mohammed
In the seventh century of our era on the Arabian peninsula there was Islam. Mohammed was the prophet of Islam. He is the person by whom the first stone of great world religion has been put. In 610 year Mohammed had appeared publicly as the prophet - it is considered to be this date Islam occurrence. Position of the authorities to Mohammed with most has started was not safe. It has been forced to leave the messa and to get over to Medina. There the new religion has found support. By the end of a life of the prophet on Arabian peninsula it was derivated Islamic Khalifat. Then the religion was divided into three branches - Shiits, Sunits and Haridjits.
Soon Arabian Khalifat has struck a crushing blow to Iran and Byzantium. The campaign to Egypt also has crowned success. The political centre had moved to Damascus, thanks to it the new religion has extended on Near and to Middle East, Southeast and the Central Asia and even across Africa. The territory of Khalifat was huge, but in due course, from it India, Iran, Spain and the North Africa have broken away. Subsequently, the new ascetic direction - Sufizm, as manifestation of spiritual culture is selected. Islam becomes the conventional world faith.
