Climate
Climate in Uzbekistan is strongly continental, droughty. Average temperature in January is from -3 С till +3 C, in July - from -26 С till +32 C. precipitations are from 80 mm., a year on desert plains; and till 1000 mm. in the mountains. The most pleasant season for traveling in Uzbekistan is Spring (from April till June) and Fall (from September till October).
Climate is not the same everywhere in Uzbekistan. For example July and August are the most hot months. Temperature reaches 52 degrees. Without a conditioner it's too bad. But if you pass just 80 kilometers far from Tashkent in the mountain area, you will not feel this heat. Because of wind you feel these 52 degrees like 25 degrees in Moscow... But water in mountain streams and lakes is quite warm. So you can swim unremittingly.
