The state museum of history of Uzbekistan
The state museum of history of Uzbekistan at Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the largest and oldest scientifically-educational establishment of the Central Asia with more than 120-year-old history. Unique monuments of archeology, ethnography numismatics are stored in a museum, archival materials numbering more than 250 thousand copies.

The state museum of arts of Uzbekistan
The state Museum of arts of Uzbekistan is one of the largest museums in Central Asia which has been based in 1918 on the basis of a small collection from 500 exhibits. They were the products of Russian and West European art - painting, a sculpture, art furniture, porcelain, bronze. The most valuable exhibits are presented to museum expositions antique and pre-medieval arts of Uzbekistan, an architectural decor, embroideries, carpets, to a fabric, copper products, gold sewing, jewelry art and others.

State museum of applied arts.
Applied art museum, where it is presented more than four thousand exhibits and art and craft subjects (ceramics, gold sewing, carpets, pictures, silk and jewelry ornaments) of the best handicraftsmen of Uzbekistan, have been based in 1937 on the basis of a temporary exhibition of handmade crafts.
The museum is located in the building of Palace, there is no time belonging to the Russian diplomat Alexander Polovtsev known for the quivering relation to architecture and art. The building is represented by the sample of architecturally-decorative art

Museum of history of the Temurs.
The state museum of history of the Temurs was opened in Tashkent on October, 18th in 1996.
The museum was built in the centre of Tashkent for Amir Temur's 660th anniversary. This unusual construction under the form with a dome in style of known architectural monuments. Since first days of the existence, the museum became the centre of scientific thought and educational work.

Museum for the memory of victims of reprisals.
The memorial is located at the Amir Timur Street, opposite to Tashkent television tower, on the territory of National park of Alisher Navoi. The museum for the memory of victims of reprisals is unique in territory of the CIS. There is everything connected somehow with reprisals and prosecution of the people of Uzbekistan is presented. Memory of victims is sacred. Honoring of memory of victims of the reprisals dreaming of these light days, not regretted lives for the sake of noble purposes, ennobles our thoughts, and clears spirit.

Gallery of the fine arts of Uzbekistan.
The richest meeting of products of the fine arts of Uzbekistan from the XX-th century beginning up to now, and also a unique collection of numismatics of the Central Asia are presented in the Gallery of the fine arts which have opened the doors on the eve of a holiday of Independence of Republic of Uzbekistan in 2004. As a basis of the first exposition has served the collection of the Art gallery of National bank of foreign trade activities of the Republic of Uzbekistan which has been created at the initiative of the head of the state in 1994.

Museum of armed forces.
The museum was formed in 1965. The museum exposition reflects the history of Armed forces and military art of the people of the Central Asia, and also the modern period of development of armed forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The exposition “Military art of an epoch of the Temurs” is devoted to military art of the outstanding statesman and commander Amir Temur and his epoch.

House museum of Aybek Musa Tashmuhamedov.
The House museum of Aybek is in one of the old areas of Tashkent. Aybek with his family lodged here in silent street of Tazetdinov (earlier named as Kislovodsk) in 1940. In the scientific library of the museum, there are books, magazines, the newspaper cuttings, the first publications of the edition in various languages, the literature on a life and creativity of the writer, the manuscript of products of classics of east literature: Navoi, Fuzli, Hafiza, Sufi Allayar, Yassavi and others.

Tamara Hanum's memorial museum.

It was created on the basis of constantly operating exhibition of suits belonging to her in 1994. In Tamara Hanum's museum, interiors of living rooms in which she has lived last years of her life, her numerous scenic suits, record of songs, a magnificent collection of photos (1920-1980th) and manuscripts among which unpublished memoirs and poems of the actress are kept.

Memorial house museum of Yuldasha Ahunbabaeva.
Y.Ahunbabaev has brought the considerable contribution to development of economy and culture of Uzbekistan in 1930-1940th years. At this time, he took part in the organisation of irrigational and agricultural works, development of cotton growing, participated in carrying out cultural revolution, struggle for liquidation of illiteracy and freedom of women.

Memorial house museum of Ural Tansykbaev.
The memorial House museum of Ural Tansykbaev (1904-1974), the National artist of the USSR, was opened in 1981. U.Tansykbaev's creativity covers the period of 1920-1970. U.Tansykbaev's heritage is huge. The basic products of the artist from museum collection are exhibited at a memorial part and in a specially built gallery.
